Why pay attention to feelings?

Why think about feelings or emotions? Integrating what we know to be true (what you learn in Bible study) into our everyday life experience happens when we connect the mind with the heart in God's Word. Jesus cares about the whole person and wants us to engage with Him in all areas of our lives (mental, social, emotional, spiritual and physical) and His Word, His Voice speaks into all of those areas. Identifying how we are feeling in response to what we are hearing helps us pay attention to how the Holy Spirit wants to guide us today. It brings Light into what we may want to cover up. This Light brings healing, direction and insight so we can honestly live in Jesus. Here is a list of emotions that may help.
